In order to face the first polar cold week, we are glad to announce a new range of Thermic features. You will get 7 new features, without extra charge. We want to be the smart home system that improves every month and we are doing so.
When getting a smart home system it is important to get to know if the brand updates the system frequently, if these updates are for free and if they obsolete the existing gadgets or not.
There are the 7 new functionalities launched to face the winter with complete comfort and save in the heating bill.
NEW COMFORT AND PROTECT ALGORITHMS
Two new algorithms are available to adapt the Thermic’s working way to your needs. The new algorithms will make your Thermic adapt the house temperature to the set target temperature in the way that you prefer. Choose the Protect algorithm to preserve your heating system or the Comfort to minimize the deviation between the room and the target temperature.
Your Thermic is not displaying the exact room temperature, but a degree upper or lower? Are you used to the temperature that your old thermostat used to show? No worries! In the Advanced Thermic’s section of the mobile app you will find a set up option called OFFSET were you adapt the temperature captured by the Thermic to match the exact room temperature.
THE THERMIC COMPATIBLE FOR ALL THE HEATING SYSTEMS
Now you will be able to install the Thermic even though you had no previous thermostat or in case it was Wireless, thanks to the new “Slave” mode. In order to make it work, you will have to get two Thermics and determine which the master thermostat is and which the slave one is during the Wizard on the mobile app. Then, it will be just about installing the slave Thermic within your heater.
THE THERMIC CAN RECEIVE THE MOTION’S TEMPERATURE
Now the Thermic can work receiving the temperature from the Motion. This allows not just to depend on the Thermic’s room temperature, but the temperature of another place in the house. Moms and dads, this is really cool to have the babies’ room warm!
It is as simple as creating a new rule for the Motion (send temperature) with an action for the Thermic (receive temperature). Do you want to command the Thermic with its own temperature back again? Just deactivate the rule and it will be done.
RECEIVE ALERTS FACING UNEXPECTED TEMPERATURES
Did you leave the heating on and now it is 32 degrees at home? Did it start to snow and the living room is now close to 7 degrees?
Don’t realize that this all happened once you are already at phone, but when it is happening, thanks to real time notifications on your email or smart home. Create rules to receive this info and make your heating system react automatically and do the work for you.
ADVANCED SAVING RULES
The heating consists in a big percentage of the energy consumption of the house and you can easily notice it in the bill.
Consume in a more efficient way and save thanks to the interaction of the Thermic with more Wattio gadgets such as the Door. Place the Door at the window and create a rule so that the Thermic switched off as soon as you vent the room.
GET TO KNOW WHEN IS THE HEATER ON
The new historic charts include now a graphic info of when is the heater on. You will see a red parameter indicating so. This will be a really good clue in order to help you save in the heating bill as it consists in a big percentage of the energy bill at home.
